Consultation – Former Hawkins Motors Site

It is anticipated that this site will be formally transferred to the town council later in the year, in accordance with the Section 106 agreement that was put in place when the planning permission for the development of the houses was originally passed. The developers of the site are also obliged to give the town council the sum of £30,000 for the purpose of enhancing the immediate area.

The council wishes to consult with the local community and asks you to submit your ideas for what you would like to see at that spot. Given its proximity to the main road, no consideration will be given to suggestions of a play area but all other proposals are welcome.  Please note that it must remain an open space for enjoyment by the whole community.

Please submit your written or drawn suggestions to the council by the end of October 2018.
