South West Water Improvement Works in Hayle

We have been advised that improvement works are due to take place at East Quay Sewage Pumping Station on Monday 25 June. This is a planned shutdown to enable some work on the pump control panels and is not in connection with the rising main. This work is planned to commence at approximately 9am with the shutdown commencing around 11am. South West Water’s contractors have advised that all work should be completed by mid afternoon.

During this period tankers will be transferring flows from East Quay pump station to Hayle Sewage Treatment Works and all measures shall be taken to minimise any disruption.
