Update 3 July 2018: Some adjustments have been made to the new gate at the entrance to the Recreation Ground to make it easier for people with mobility issues to use. The gate now opens inwards and outwards and will re-set itself to the closed position when you have entered/exited.

Good news! The council is pleased to report that a new gate is now in place at the entrance to the Recreation Ground near the playground.
