CIVIC PARADE AND SERVICE 2019

 

Civic Parade 2019 Thanks to all who participated.

The Mayor of Hayle, Councillor Clive Polkinghorne, hosted the annual Hayle Town Council Civic Parade and Service, which took place on Sunday 6 October 2019.

The parade was led by Heyl Town Band and standards were carried by representatives from the Royal British Legion (Hayle Branch), Hayle Cubs and Scouts, Hayle Surf Lifesaving Club, Hayle RNLI, Hayle Army Cadets, Royal Air Force Air Cadets with the Hayle Town Council standard carried by the Mayor’s Cadet, Royal Air Force Air Cadet Corporal Emily Brown, and the Hayle Town Council banner carried by members of Hayle Surf Lifesaving Club.  Representatives from many other Hayle organisations also took part in the parade and/or the service, which was held at St Elwyn’s Church.

After the service, the parade returned to the Day Care Centre and everyone enjoyed the refreshments.

The Mayor of Hayle, Councillor Clive Polkinghorne has thanked everyone who attended and made both the parade and the service such a great success.
