Penwith Landscape Partnership

Volunteer Days

When: Every Wednesday and Thursday from 9.45am until 27 June 2019

Where: Different locations throughout West Penwith

An opportunity to learn more about the work that the Penwith Landscape Partnership does in practical conservation, archaeology, ecology and footpaths:

They are running volunteer sessions to clear vegetation, uncover some of Penwith’s archaeological treasures, restore Cornish hedges and improve access along trails connecting ancient sites.  They need people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in, embrace learning new skills and enjoy working outside in all weathers.  The sessions are fascinating days out with friendly people – a great way to boost your health and wellbeing!

The days are free but you will need to bring sturdy footwear, lunch and waterproof/outdoor clothing.  All training, tools, equipment and refreshments (tea/coffee and biscuits!) will be provided.  If you would like to be involved please email Richie on richie.smith@cornwallwildlifetrust.org.uk or ring Holly on 01736 805306.
