Friends of the Towans – Godrevy Warren

The third of four outings to The Warren, where you will start to cut back gorse, privet and clematis to enable cattle to move around the site and to restore open grassland areas.  You may be helping with fencing too, for a change and to exercise some different muscle groups!

Meet at the five bar gate on the right, just inside the National Trust (NT) road to Godrevy, SW 587/422.  Park in the NT car park, or the small car park on the left, just beyond the five bar gate.

Ranger Martin Rule will bring tools, gloves, tea, coffee and biscuits, but please make sure you bring some lunch and appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for working in the exposed Towans’ environment.

(All Friends of the Towans events start at 10am and run until about 2pm.)

If you are planning to attend, please contact Martin by text or phone to 07854 123877, or email martinrule@talktalk.net to let him know.
