Hayle Summer Carnival Queen Choosing

Paradise Park is the new venue for the Hayle Summer Carnival Queen and Attendants choosing ceremony, which will take place at the Jungle Barn on Friday 18 May 2018 between 6.00pm and 7.00pm.  Children wishing to enter must be aged between 5 and 11 years old and live in the TR27 postcode area.  All children attending will be able to make use of the facilities during the event.  Also, any children not selected will be invited to participate in the procession as ‘Ladies in Waiting’ to the Hayle Carnival Queen.

The Summer Carnival takes place on Saturday 4 August 2018; its theme is ‘Take Flight’, which although optional is chosen to inspire some wonderful creations.  Entry categories include Junior Walker, Senior Walker, Mixed Walking Group, Humorous Float, Serious Float and Vintage Cars.

For more information please see the Hayle Carnival Facebook Group.  If you would like to help out on the night with marshalling etc, please contact Chairperson Jayne Quick on 07900 144958.
