Happy Happy Happy

Nicola Masters has written ‘A Walk Through Hayle’ especially for the art trail.  It takes the reader through the town past the landmarks that are so familiar to the people that live here.  Reflecting the theme of the trail and the arts event: Reflections of Hayle: Telling Our  Yarns, the piece highlights the similarities between past and present Hayle and encourages us to take a walk through the town and look more closely at some of the things that we perhaps take for granted.

Nicola is a writer based in Hayle. She was the creator of the popular (but now defunct) blog 365 Bad Jokes, which gained nearly 100,000 followers in its three years of life.

A diehard fan of bad puns, she subsequently took that a step too far by creating The Miserables, an Edinburgh Fringe show that used rewritten songs from Les Miserables to tell the story of a group of office workers who hated their jobs.

Nicola signed a two-book deal with Amazon Publishing. The first of these books, Happy Happy Happy, was released in 2022, with Ready For It following in 2023.

She is currently working on a new theatre project to come in 2025, as well as a new novel.
