During the Annual Council meeting on Thursday 18 May 2017 Councillor Nick Farrar was successfully confirmed as Hayle Town Mayor and Councillor Clive Polkinghorne as Hayle Deputy Mayor for the forthcoming year. Congratulations to both! At the same meeting Maddie Thomas was chosen as the Mayor’s Cadet for 2017-2018.
At its special council meeting on 31 May 2017 the recently elected Hayle Town Council resolved to appoint three new co-opted councillors onto South Ward to fill the casual vacancies resulting from the recent council elections. The new councillors are Councillor Harry Blakeley, Councillor Peter Channon and Councillor Andrew Roden.
