Carrying on the work to remove clematis stumps and ragwort etc from areas cleared of scrub in recent years.
Meeting point to be confirmed – probably along the lane to Beachside, but they will have visitors by then, so this may be changed. Please confirm with Martin (see below).
Ranger Martin Rule will bring tools, gloves, tea, coffee and biscuits, but please make sure you bring appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for working in the exposed Towans’ environment. Martin will run through a risk assessment before each task, but you should be aware that the Towans is an open, exposed environment. You may have to contend with sun from above and adders from below on a good day, and with rain and wind when it’s not so good…
