Friends of the Towans – Gwithian Towans

Help with some bramble raking and clematis and blackthorn removal at Gwithian Towans.

Meet in the two car parks at the entrance to Gwithian Towans, off B3301 at SW582/407; 10am to 2pm on Thursday 10 May 2018.

Ranger Martin Rule will bring tools, gloves, tea, coffee and biscuits, but please make sure you bring appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for working in the exposed Towans’ environment.  Martin will run through a risk assessment before each task, but you should be aware that the Towans is an open, exposed environment.  You may have to contend with sun from above and adders from below on a good day, and with rain and wind when it’s not so good…

If you are planning to attend, please contact Martin by text or phone to 07854 123877, or email martinrule@talktalk.net to let him know.
